Astrology & Relationships: The Leo + Scorpio Conundrum
Having prominent placements in both Leo and Scorpio can be such a mind f*ck. Because it’s like…
“LOOK AT ME!!! But don’t you dare look at me.”
“I really don’t want to be looked at, but don’t you act like you can’t see me, either.”
It’s almost like, “look at me with your eyes closed. And don’t try to pretend, because I’ll know if you’re looking or not! Even with your eyes closed, I can tell!”
It’s NUTS.
It will have the people in our lives—the people who loves us, the people who date us, the people we who befriend or work alongside us—looking at us like, HUH?! WHAT?!
It’s as if for people with prominent Leo and Scorpio placements, the only way to satisfy us is to do what seems like the impossible. Which is to do both.
But the key word is SEEMS because it’s actually not an impossible task. Difficult perhaps, annoying, yes, but impossible? No! Because, truth be told, if you try real hard, you really can see with your eyes closed.
And that sounds like Scorpio, 8th house, Plutonian witchery, but that’s actually the secret of 8th house, Scorpio, Plutonian witchery. They understand that there are pleeeeeenty of resources at their disposal, honey (and yours!). Ones you can see and ones you can’t. And as a resourceful individual, it’s actually quite possible to make it seem like you’re not paying attention, or “seeing,” when you realllllllly are. When you start perceiving—or at least making an effort to perceive—them on that level? That’s when you’ve truly impressed them enough for them to let their START letting their guards down.
But how, you ask? How do you look without seeing? By listening, for example. By feeling. By putting two and two and together. By tapping tf in! And in such a literal, surface-level, unintegrated world/culture/society as ours, that actually is kind witchy.
But, in my view, it’s not just about having the ability to see beyond the surface, for the sake of seeing beyond the surface. Or making someone jump through hoops as a way to prove or exert some sort of power of them. At least it shouldn’t be, because, according to my values, 8th house, Scorpio or Plutonian energy is way too powerful to be used for egoic party plays, or for party tricks. Well, at least not primarily, because sometimes parties need tricks, but the point is, I do not think it’s ethical as a human being to use 8th house, Scorpio or Plutonian energy all willy nilly or for some low-vibrational, egoistic purpose.
When it comes to relationships, Scorpios and Plutonians and people with prominent 8th house placements can demand that kind of devotion or dedication to going the extra mile and seeing them beneath the surface before you really have access to them, because they know and understand that this material world and these material pleasures and whatever you’re attracted to on the outside, ain’t got nothing on the view from inside honey. Just wait till you to experience the true, raw essence underneath! And most of all, that surface level things and attractions fade, while the essence only becomes more vibrant.
They understand that having that essence-level perception on the world makes life reallllly worth living, and if you’re going to be in their life and you’re someone they love, then they want you to see them that way too.
And that’s the thing about Scorpios or 8th housers—especially ones who have prominent Leo placements as well—they know how to put on a secret show, honey. They are good at rewarding people for jumping through all the hoops. They are ADEPT at demonstrating that after whatever hard or “impossible” thing you had to do to actually, TRULY see me, or our situation, on a deep, intimate level…oh, trust, you’ll be glad you did lmaooo.
Scorpios, 8th housers or Plutonians will be like, “Do neither, yet both. Matter fact, do both at the same got damn time actually, and if or when you do, oh my gosh golly will it be worth the effort.”
